Jason Mosher is a writer in the firearms industry and works in law enforcement. He was elected for three terms as a county Sheriff, serving from 2013-2024. He continues to serve in law enforcement today as a certified firearms instructor and armorer. Jason also works in the private sector on an executive security detail.
Jason holds degrees in criminal justice administration, marketing, business management and agriculture. He is a graduate of the 294th FBI-LEEDA and is a Trilogy award recipient. He is a state approved generalist instructor for law enforcement continuing education and a certified crime scene investigator.
Jason was the author of “The Sheriff’s Journal” a column that was published for more than 8 years in the Nevada Daily Mail.
Jason writes today for multiple online and print publications including Safariland, Shooting News Weekly, Breach Bang Clear, Glock USA, Inc (Glock Annual Magazine) and others.
